A Passion for Writing and Producing

Co-founder of the Indie Films Foundation, Bruce May along with his long time associate and co-founder, Gary Parker, has a passion for creating and teaching film and television production. Bruce and Gary have worked closely together, writing and producing multiple projects for corporate video clients for over twenty-five years. Currently, Bruce focuses on producing and screenwriting for the IFF (see projects below).

Bruce May has been working in media and television for over 25 years. His first introduction to the industry was through Quanah Productions, where he worked closely with Gary Parker for several years.  He then moved on, working nationally in the online television industry, providing pioneering technology solutions to major industry players. In 2010, Bruce returned to his roots, when he began producing and hosting shows in online radio and television, working with his old friend and colleague, Gary Parker at Global Dynamic Media.  He also produces Sustainable Resilience with David Dodd, a show dedicated to creating more resilient economies worldwide.  He has written multiple projects and books over the years, including the screenplay for Shattered Lives, the movie, now in pre-production by Indie Films Foundation.  Bruce and Gary co-host The Production House, where they review films they choose from the entire history of film.

Bruce has had a long career working in pioneering digital technologies in the entertainment world, working closely with a broad range of clients using interactive digital media in the film, television, sports, and music industries. He is a recognized expert in digital and online media. 

Bruce has written several books about the evolving best practices that digital technologies have transformed the  business world and he has spoken at many conferences both as a panelist and a keynote speaker, including many Digital Hollywood events in New York and LA, and at special conferences with audiences that included entertainment attorney’s, television engineers, and digital media professionals.
